‘Come follow Christ in the footsteps of St Paul’
We are an Anglican Church in the Oxford Movement, which means that our worship follows the Anglican Prayer Book for Australia (or the Book of Common Prayer) and we use sacramental rites, colour, incense, clothing and ceremony to help express our love of God. St. Paul’s is committed to spreading the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and in offering the sacraments of Eucharist and Baptism.
On Sunday mornings we love our Sung Eucharist, as we celebrate the Lord’s Supper of bread and wine and praise God in song, as accompanied by our W.C. Mack (1865) pipe-organ. After Holy Communion, we share in a fine Morning Tea.
On Sunday evenings we get together over a simple meal, and then pray, praise and proclaim the teachings of Jesus; as seem to rightly address today’s times and needs.
At both services, we are a multicultural mix of people, from all walks of life, who may be found any day in and about Port Adelaide. We are committed to loving, befriending and nurturing all who come to our Table: the hard-up, the wealthy, those living on the edge, and those well-esteemed.
We come together always to worship God, and to give thanks for our salvation in Jesus the Christ.
